Flood victim’s support
Very sadly, whole of Pakistan has been affected by torrential rains and floods which resulted in unimaginable disaster. No Government nor any NGO can tackle to help the entire area and people ALONE, we , as a humble Trust, are doing our best to organize any kind of help and where ever it is needed, We are concentrating on providing food, clothes, utensils, minor home repairs in emergency, clean drinking water etc. Please see some of the photographs (below), enabling you to have some idea of the situation
HUMAN APPEAL FOR THE FLOOD DISASTER VICTIMS.
More than 2000 people ( as reported only) have died in the flood disaster, which began in the north and have swept south towards the sea, destroying roads, bridges, homes, domestic belongings, their resources cattles, farmlands etc., and knocking out power stations.
In emergence, people desperately need Food, clean drinking water, clothing, foot wear, bedding, domestic utensils, roof repairs, some cash etc. Officials with the United Nations and World Food Program (WFP) now say that over two million are in need of desperate and urgent help.
Care-Link is participating a lot and doing our best to provide the food etc. in the outskirts of Nowshera, Chaar Sadda, Muzaffar Gardh, Karachi( where thousands of affected people are pouring from different parts of the country ). Alhamdu Lilllah, we have contacts with a large number of volunteers and local people, who are working day and night to reach the affected areas and transport food, drinking water etc.
Although people have already given their Zakat, but this calamity is beyond the finances of Zakat, and all of us have to go further to help our brethren with as much help we can.
This is such a disaster the human history is experiencing after the floods of Noah, otherwise never known to the human race any where in the whole world. People say that it is punishment of our deeds - first we sadly saw our East Wing of the country lost, second time we experienced massive and most powerful earthquake in Azad Kashmir and North Pakistan. Now, third time the whole nation is facing unprecedented Floods.
Now we, as a nation have to stand up, as for Divine forgiveness. It is our trial, and as Muslims, we are obliged to feel the pains of our brethren. and consider our responsibilities by donating as much as we can. THEREFORE, PLEASE COME FORWARD AND JOIN HANDS WITH CARE-LINK UK TRUST IN HELPING THEM.
